The responsible bit

Accessibility.

The Dog Needs This is committed to making this site usable by as many people as possible. The dog does not care about your browser; we do. Last reviewed October 2026.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across thedogneedsthis.com.

What we do

We test the site with automated accessibility tools and keyboard-only navigation, and we review colour contrast, image descriptions, form labels, and screen-reader behaviour as the site changes. Every product verdict is written as text, so no rating depends on an image or a colour alone.

Tell us if something is in your way

If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, email hello@thedogneedsthis.com with the page and what happened. We respond within five business days and will provide the information you need another way.
