The candle ceremony lasted longer than the cake. A dog-friendly cake mix and icing packet that turns one mixing bowl into a full-scale canine birthday production. This is not essential equipment, and we refuse to pretend otherwise. But as dog purchases go, it produced a useful mix of entertainment, curiosity and genuine canine interest.
