The Pet-Pro Air Purifier

The fur is still on the sofa. At least the dander has entered witness protection.

The short version

Our first impression

Internet find: current pet-focused models add washable prefilters and odor-focused filtration. We have not measured one in a Pickles-and-Bear air-quality trial. A HEPA air purifier designed around pet hair, dander and the delicate household fragrance known as wet Labrador. We have not put this through a Pickles-and-Bear test yet; this is an editorial preview, not a hands-on verdict.

Best for

Multi-dog homes, allergy-conscious humans and anyone whose living room has developed its own coat.

The evidence

Good dog. Questionable purchase.

This one is waiting for a real-dog test. The scorecard reflects our editorial first impression of the design, use case and entertainment potential.

The good

  • Targets airborne dander and fine particles
  • Washable prefilters can catch larger pet hair
  • Useful beyond the dog category

The nonsense

  • Replacement filters add ongoing cost
  • Odor claims deserve skepticism
  • Does not remove the fur already wearing your furniture
